Cookies used by this website

The website rivaceramiche.com uses technical cookies, which are necessary for it to work, and – only with your consent – statistical cookies from Google Analytics. Technical cookies do not require consent (Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Italian Data Protection Authority guidelines of 10 June 2021).

WordPress cookies (e.g. wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_*): used for the website’s private area and set only for the people who manage the website.
WooCommerce cookies (e.g. woocommerce_*, wp_woocommerce_session_*): technical, related to browsing the catalogue [to be verified].
Wishlist (riva_wishlist): remembers the pieces you save with the heart, so you can find them on the Wishlist page; it only contains the piece codes and lasts 12 months.

The website does not use profiling or marketing cookies.

Third-party content: the map

A Google Maps map, a service provided by Google Ireland Ltd, is available in the footer and on the Contact page. To protect your privacy, the map is loaded only with your consent: it appears automatically if you choose “Accept” in the banner; otherwise you can load it each time by clicking “Show the map”. At that point Google may set its own cookies, in accordance with Google’s privacy policy.

Statistical cookies: Google Analytics (only with your consent)

If you give your consent from the banner, the website uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Ltd, to collect aggregate visit statistics (pages viewed, traffic source, device type). Without your consent Google Analytics is not loaded and no statistical cookie is set.

_ga – distinguishes visitors pseudonymously – duration 2 years.
_ga_<ID> – keeps the session state – duration 2 years.

Data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can read Google’s privacy policy and choose whether to install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

How to give or withdraw consent

On your first visit a banner asks whether you accept statistical cookies and map cookies. If you close the banner with the X, or choose “Decline”, only technical cookies are used and the map loads only if you click “Show the map”. You can change your choice at any time from the link Cookie preferences, also available at the bottom of every page. Your choice is remembered for 6 months through the technical cookie riva_consent.
